You will be encouraged to participate in all aspects of your lives, and to be an active participant in the running of the company.
You will be encouraged to participate in :
- TENANTS MEETINGS: These are scheduled for each month in individual houses and you are asked specific questions encouraging you to discuss your general health and maintenance issues within your house. You are then all asked individually if there is anything that you wish to discuss.
- SERVICE USER FORUM: The forum is a chance for you to discuss any issues that you have or request information that you want and need. Forum meetings are incorporated into the monthly Library club and a representative from the management team is present. External speakers can be invitated.
- INTERVIEWING: You are invited to take part in the interview process for new staff. To be part of the process you need to write 3 questions that we can ask the interviewees.
- TRAINING: You are invited to take part in in-house training provided by the company. The training takes various forms, for example, watching and discussing videos about things like Health and Safety, Food Hygiene or Fire Training.
- PERSON CENTRED PLANNING/SUPPORT CONTRACT: Your Person Centred Plan and Support Contract is written with you within 4 weeks of you or starting to receive support from us. The PCP is about your hopes and dreams and how we can help you achieve them. The Support Contract lets you know what your and the companies responsibilities are with regards to developing and maintaining independence in all aspects of your life. Both the PCP and the Support Contract are reviewed every 6 months.
